Fresh Beer of Chios – House Ale belongs to the ALE beers, produced in Kambos of Chios from fine malt varieties and whole hops. It is always bottled without pasteurization and filtering, keeping its taste and other organoleptic characteristics unchanged. It has a yellowish-blonde colour with orange highlights and white foam. Dominated by hop and citrus aromas, the body is rich with a fruity taste and a subtle bitterness. It is produced from three different, fine malt varieties and whole hops (Magnum, Bobek & Amarillo). It is slowly fermented, traditionally in limited batches, without preservatives or other additives and with a maturation period of more than 4 to 6 weeks. It has a shelf life (3 months) and long-term storage is in the refrigerator. The recommended serving temperature is 8-12°C
