Fresh Beer of Chios – House Ale is a top-fermented ale, produced in Kambos of Chios from fine varieties of malt and whole hops. It is always bottled without pasteurization and filtering, keeping its taste and other organoleptic characteristics unchanged. It has a yellowish-blonde colour with orange highlights and white foam. Dominated by hop and citrus aromas, the body is rich with a fruity taste and a subtle bitterness. It is produced from three different, fine malt varieties and whole hops (Magnum, Bobek & Amarillo). It is slowly fermented, traditionally in limited batches, without preservatives or other additives and with a maturation period of more than 4 to 6 weeks. It has a shelf life (3 months) and long term storage is in the refrigerator. The recommended serving temperature is 8-12°C. Each batch is unique. Fresh Chios Beer 330ml is distributed in packs of 12 pieces.
